Park Rules and General Information

For everyone’s enjoyment we please ask you to observe the following Park Rules.

Road Rules:
The road through the park is a ONE-WAY system. The speed limit within the park is 5km (walking pace). Speeding within the park will not be tolerated. Guests who disregard this rule will not be permitted to have their car in the park.

Check In/Out Time:
Check In time for all Sites and Accommodation is 2pm and Check Out is at 10am, unless prior arrangements are made with management. Please note that a late check out fee will apply if your Site or Accommodation is not vacated by 10am.

Setting up your Site:
Please reverse onto your Site and ensure your hitch is facing the road and that all ropes, pegs etc. are within your own Site boundaries, and that no tarps be laid directly onto the grass. Each Site’s capacity is for one van/tent plus an awning and one car.

Waterfront Sites:
There must be a clear walkway between your camp and the river for emergency access to Sites. Please do not erect any tents or structures within one metre of the reeds or river bank. Sites A03–A08 please note the grassy area in front of your site is a public area and cannot be camped on.

Cars must be parked on your allocated Site only and on the road side of your camp and cannot be parked any further forward than the back edge of the slabs.

Reception / Shop Hours:
The Shop/Office is open from 8:30am–5pm, 7 days. If the office is unattended during office hours, please press the buzzer located to the right-hand side of the door and someone will attend to you.

OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE OR BEHAVIOUR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Management has the right to terminate the occupancy of a Site, or Accommodation at their discretion.

Noise Levels:
For the quiet enjoyment of all guests, noise is to be kept at a reasonable level at all times. All music and gatherings are to cease by 10pm. Water skiing is also not to commence before 7:30am.

These are to be used in a safe and orderly fashion, adhering to the speed limit, wearing the appropriate protective gear and helmets. For safety reasons they are not to be used between caravans or around the Amenities Block, the Camp Kitchen or under the Villas. They are not to be ridden after dark unless with the appropriate lights and safety equipment.

Please ensure all children practice road safety and are supervised around vehicles. When a car is approaching the child must dismount and move off the road.

Park Wildlife Residents (Birds, Ducks & Possums):
As a feature of the Park we ask that these animals be left alone. Please supervise your children and dogs around the wildlife.

Steps to River:
Please exercise caution and supervise children on steps, as they can be slippery.

Garbage:
All rubbish is to be put in to the dumpsters provided near the rear boom gate. We operate a recycling system and ask for your support in sorting your rubbish.

Dump Point:
Please respect the other guests by properly disposing cassette and bucket waste in the provided dump point.

Guests:
All guests staying overnight must be paid for and prior notification must be given at reception.

Please inform reception if you are expecting visitors so that we can give them access. Please do not attempt to use your gate key to let people in or out with this system. Guests are responsible for their visitor’s behaviour.

If your visitors will be staying after the office closes, they are to park outside of the area beforehand.

Pets:
We are a Pet Friendly Park. Pets must be kept on a lead (retractable lead locked at no more than 1.5 metres) at all times and either restrained by hand by an adult or tied up within your camp site. There is no “off leash area” in the park.

For health and safety reasons, pets are not permitted in the Amenities Block, Laundry, Camp Kitchen, Community Garden, Pool (including pool area), BBQ area, or near, in, or under Villas.

Owners must clean up after their dogs immediately. No barking/howling will be tolerated. Please do not leave your pet unattended – your pet is your responsibility and must go with you when you leave the Park premises.

Drones:
For the privacy of all guests, drones are not to be flown in or around the premises.

Risk Warning:
The management wishes to warn occupants, guests and other persons who engage in any recreational activity within the meaning of the Civil Liability Act 2002 in or near the Park that the pursuit of such activities may result in harm or injury. All persons who engage in any Recreational Activities do so at their own risk.
